Duplex and multi-plex housing systems

Multi-Plex Housing bag filter systems use #2 size filter bags (7' dia. x 32'' long) and are available with 2 to 8 modules, accommodating all flow rate requirements. Multiple vessels operating in parallel increase filter capacity.

The Multi-Plex Housing System has two butterfly valves installed on the inlet and outlet of each vessel. Functioning as shutt-off valves, they isolate each individual housing from the filtering process allowing uninterrupted service during filter media replacement.

All multi-plex housing systems are equipped with two inlet connections and two outlet connections. Alternate connection ports allow users the option of choosing the inlet and outlet site that best suits space and piping requirements. The remaining unused ports are sealed with (user-furnished) blind flanges.

Industrial Grade Housing Specifications

• 304 or 316 stainless steel, or carbon steel
• Maximum working pressure 150 PSI, 300°F
• Hydrostatically tested to 220 PSI
• Butterfly valves with cast iron body, all wetted parts are 316 stainless steel, buna seated
• Inlet and outlet: 3’’, 4’’, 6’’ ANSI flanges

Standard Features

• All stainless steel models have a glass bead blasted exterior finish
• All carbon steel models are painted blue
• Hinged lid with hangle
• Plated carbon steel hardware, closure bolts
• ¼" NPT gauge ports, upstream and down-stream
• ¼" NPT vent ports
• ¾" NPT downstream drain ports
• Buna-N O-rings are standard. Other O-rings materials are available per request
• Stainless steel frame on all stainless steel models
• Carbon steel frame on all carbon steel models
